Working Writing skill

Write a regulatory response

Write a regulatory response that answers each request with verified facts, evidence, authority, uncertainty, remediation, commitments, and controlled attachments.

Use current official instructions and qualified review. This is not legal advice.

When to use

  • Use for questions, findings, incidents, inspections, remediation, enforcement, or supervisory correspondence.
  • Do not speculate, omit material contrary evidence, or make commitments without authority.

Procedure

  1. Verify sender, authority, request version, scope, deadline, channel, format, confidentiality, and applicable obligations.
  2. Establish legal, regulatory, domain, evidence, data, remediation, signatory, and submission authority.
  3. Map every question and request to facts, source evidence, owner, reviewer, gap, and attachment.
  4. Build a verified timeline and distinguish fact, inference, allegation, uncertainty, and future action.
  5. Answer directly with scope, dates, entities, systems, populations, methods, and limitations.
  6. Describe containment, remediation, testing, governance, residual risk, and commitments with accountable dates.
  7. Reconcile numbers, claims, attachments, prior statements, privilege, privacy, and confidential treatment.
  8. Validate exact files and signatures, submit officially, preserve acknowledgment, and track follow-up commitments.
