House rules, ratified

Brief

Your game group argues about the same rules every single time: whether that card stacks, what landing on Free Parking pays, whether screen-watching is cheating. Write the disputed rules down, put each one to a vote, and publish the ratified set. The next dispute gets settled by opening the URL instead of relitigating.

Personalize

• The group and the games. Your actual game group and the games you play together. List the disputes from memory; the group will happily remind you of the rest.
• The ratification process. Agree how a rule passes: majority, unanimous, host decides ties. Write the process on the site too, because the group will eventually argue about the process.
• The rule format. Each rule gets the ruling, the date it passed, and the vote count. Whether you record who voted which way is up to the group; ask before attributing votes to names.

Milestones

1. Collect the disputed rules from the group and agree the voting process.
2. Site live at a URL with the process and the first drafted rules marked as unratified.
3. Ratification round one: the group votes, results recorded, rules marked as passed with dates.
4. The full set ratified and published, organized by game.
5. Game night happens; a dispute comes up; someone opens the page and the ruling stands. This is the acceptance test.
6. Amendment path proven: one rule gets revisited, revoted, and the page shows the change with its date. Final README.

Done means

• Live URL responding; every ratified rule carries its date and vote result
• The voting process is published and was followed
• A live dispute at a game night was settled by the page, noted in the README with the rule involved
• Named vote records appear only with each voter's okay
• At least one amendment went through the process after initial publication
• At least 8 commits across at least 5 distinct days, authored by you
• SESSIONS.md has an entry per session, written by you
