Brief
A page mapping every water fountain, public bathroom, and free wifi spot near your school, each one checked on foot by you. The verified part is the whole product: anyone can copy a list off the internet, but only you walked there and confirmed the fountain works.
Personalize
- Your radius. Draw the boundary you can cover on foot in a week: the blocks around your school, the route home, the park. State the boundary on the page.
- Your categories. Fountains, bathrooms, and wifi are the starter set; swap in what your area has (benches, bike racks, phone charging, shade in summer).
- Your verification note. For each spot, one line only you could write: the fountain with low pressure, the bathroom code, the wifi that needs a login.
Milestones
- Define the boundary and categories; make the survey sheet you will carry (paper or phone note).
- Walk the area and log every spot: name, location, category, date visited, working or not.
- Structure the log into one data file with coordinates or nearest cross-street.
- Page live: a map or ordered list grouped by category, each spot with its visit date and note.
- Re-verify the three spots most likely to have changed; add a "last checked" date to each entry.
Done means
- Live URL listing every spot inside the stated boundary
- Every entry has a visit date and a note from your own visit
- Nothing on the page is copied from another list unverified
- Broken or closed spots are shown as broken, not deleted
- At least 6 commits across at least 4 distinct days, authored by you
- SESSIONS.md has an entry per session, written by you
