Your best trick, sixty seconds

Use with: edit-a-short. Resume line when done: Shot and edited a sixty-second skill video — published at {url}

Brief

A sixty-second video of the one skill people ask you to show them: the kickflip, the omelette flip, the speedcube solve, the free-throw streak. Shot on your phone and cut tight so every second earns its place. You perform it and you make the cuts; the agent helps plan shots and critiques drafts of the edit, but everything in the frame happened in front of your camera.

Milestones

  1. Shot list on paper: the angles, the close-up, the one slow-motion moment.
  2. Footage shot, more takes than you think you need.
  3. First cut at sixty seconds, no filler frames.
  4. Sound decided and placed: room audio, a track you have rights to, or silence.
  5. A caption written by you, then published where anyone can watch it.
