Working Resume skill

Verify resume claims

Verify resume claims against permissioned records for identity, dates, titles, credentials, scope, attribution, metrics, links, and public status.

Create a private evidence trail without oversharing source documents.

When to use

  • Use for candidate self-review, authorized coaching, executive diligence, or correction.
  • Do not access accounts, contact employers, or disclose private records without the candidate's permission and lawful authority.

Procedure

  1. Split the resume into atomic claims with an identifier and risk level.
  2. Verify identity, contact, employment, title, dates, education, credentials, publications, awards, projects, and links.
  3. For metrics, record source, definition, baseline, period, currency or unit, team scope, and candidate attribution.
  4. Check whether public outputs are live, permissioned, correctly credited, and in the stated status.
  5. Reconcile ambiguous title changes, mergers, contracts, simultaneous roles, and career breaks.
  6. Flag unsupported precision, causality, superlatives, sole-ownership language, and stale credentials.
  7. Revise to the strongest supportable wording rather than deleting useful context automatically.
  8. Store source evidence separately with minimum access and retention.
  9. Produce a claim status report and obtain candidate approval.
