## Procedure

1. Verify format, time, interviewer role, platform or location, accessibility needs, and any stated evaluation scope.
2. Research the institution from current official sources and record only programs, values, or opportunities genuinely relevant to the applicant.
3. Build an evidence bank covering interests, learning, community, challenges, collaboration, choices, and future questions.
4. Turn each example into context, personal action, result, and reflection without manufacturing metrics.
5. Practice concise answers to likely themes, including uncertainty or a mistake, while varying the wording.
6. Prepare specific questions whose answers are not obvious on the institution's website.
7. Rehearse listening, clarification, transitions, and a truthful answer when the applicant does not know.
8. Test travel or technology, prepare materials and contact details, and define the follow-up action.

## Failure plan

- Do not coach a personality, interest, or commitment the applicant cannot defend.
- Avoid confidential school, family, health, or peer information not needed for the answer.
- If asked an inappropriate or prohibited question, decline briefly and redirect to relevant experience.
- Do not treat alumni or informal interviewer comments as admissions promises.
