Brief
One trip you took, told day by day: your photos, what happened, and the part that went wrong, because the flat tire or the missed train is the story everyone retells. The photos already exist on your phone; the work is picking the honest ones and writing what a photo cannot show. Built for the people who were there and the you of ten years from now.
Personalize
- The trip. One that finished, that you have photos from, and that had at least one thing go sideways. A school trip or a weekend at a cousin's qualifies; glamour is irrelevant.
- The other witnesses. Whoever was on the trip gets asked for their photos and their version of the disputed moments.
- The wrong turn. Name the thing that went wrong before you start writing. It anchors the honest tone for everything else.
Milestones
- Day one of the trip live at a URL, day one of the build.
- All photos collected from everyone who was there, culled to the ones that carry the story.
- Every day written up, including the day things went wrong, told straight.
- One page per day with navigation between days, plus an index.
- Phone styling; trips get relived on phones.
- Someone who was there reads it and disputes your version. Settle it in the text. Final README.
Done means
- Live URL responding; works on a phone
- Every day of the trip covered with photos from the trip itself
- The thing that went wrong is in the story, told honestly
- A fellow traveler's review recorded in the README
- At least 8 commits across at least 5 distinct days, authored by you
- SESSIONS.md has an entry per session, written by you
