A page for your pet
Use with: build-website. Resume line when done: Designed and shipped a multi-page site end to end — live at {url}
Brief
The full biography of your pet: photos, habits, a life timeline, the noises, the enemies, the spot on the couch. The subject is silly on purpose; the execution is not. Because the content costs nothing to gather, all your effort goes into making the site good, which is the point. Finish it properly and you have proven you can finish a site.
Personalize
- The pet. Yours, or a pet you see weekly. You need photo access and firsthand knowledge of its habits. A neighbor's cat counts if you know the cat.
- The signature detail. Every pet has one weird thing it does. That gets its own section, written with the seriousness of a museum placard.
- The timeline events. Gather dates from whoever remembers: arrival day, the great escape, the vet incident.
Milestones
- One page with one photo live at a URL, day one.
- Photos gathered and picked: at least ten good ones spanning the pet's life so far.
- The biography written: habits, timeline, likes and dislikes.
- Multiple pages with navigation: home, timeline, gallery, and whatever else the pet has earned.
- Styling pass until it looks deliberate on a phone and a laptop.
- Show the household. If they laugh and share the link, ship the final README.
