Brief
Every decision your club has made, dated and findable at one URL, so meetings stop re-litigating what was settled in October. One page per meeting, one line per decision, newest first. This is the secretary role with a permanent address.
Personalize
- The club. A real club, team, or society you belong to that holds meetings and makes decisions. If you are not the secretary, the current secretary is your partner and your source.
- The backlog. Decide how far back you go. Old paper minutes, a notes app, the treasurer's memory: pick a starting point you can finish typing in a week.
- What counts as a decision. Agree the format with whoever runs the club: date, what was decided, who is doing it. Keep debate and gossip out; this site records outcomes.
Milestones
- Get sign-off from whoever runs the club, and agree what is public. Some clubs will want the site private or unlisted; respect that choice.
- One page live at a URL with the most recent meeting's decisions.
- Backlog entered: past meetings typed in, dated, newest first.
- Finding things works: a browser text search across one page, or a simple search box if you build one. Test it on the decision people misremember most.
- The next meeting happens and its decisions go up within a day.
- The club is told where the site lives, at a meeting or in the club chat. Final README.
Done means
- Live URL responding; every entry dated
- Sign-off from the club's leader on existence and visibility, recorded in the README
- At least one meeting was recorded live, published within a day
- Someone other than you has used the site to settle what was decided, noted in the README
- At least 8 commits across at least 5 distinct days, authored by you
- SESSIONS.md has an entry per session, written by you
