Your club's page
Use with: build-website. Resume line when done: Built the official web page for {club}, adopted by the club — live at {url}
Brief
A page for a club you are in: what it does, when and where it meets, how to join, and a photo from a meeting that happened. The difference from a practice project is the approval step: the sponsor or club leader reviews it, and the URL goes on the next flyer or announcement. You are building for an organization with a stake in how it looks.
Personalize
- The club. One you attend, so the content comes from firsthand knowledge and you can take the photo yourself.
- The approver. Name the sponsor, teacher, or president who has to say yes before the link goes anywhere. Tell them the plan before you build.
- The join step. Find out exactly how a new person joins (show up? talk to someone? sign a form?) and write that, since it is the page's whole job.
Milestones
- A one-paragraph page live at a URL, day one.
- Content confirmed with the club: meeting time, place, activities, the join process.
- A photo taken at a meeting, with everyone in it okay with being on the page.
- Full page built and styled, readable on a phone.
- Approver review; every requested change handled.
- The URL published somewhere official: flyer, morning announcement, group chat pin. Final README.
Done means
- Live URL responding; works on a phone
- Meeting details confirmed correct by a second club member
- A meeting photo with consent from the people in it
- Approver sign-off and the official posting recorded in the README
- At least 8 commits across at least 5 distinct days, authored by you
- SESSIONS.md has an entry per session, written by you
