One episode with your best friend

Brief
You and your best friend already have this conversation; this time you record it. One topic you two never run out of, recorded on purpose, then edited down to the good forty minutes. You both talk and you edit. The agent helps build the outline and mark the cut list, but the talk itself is unscripted and yours.
Personalize
- The topic. The one that takes over your walks home. If you have to hunt for a topic, pick a different project this week.
- The friend. One who agrees to be published, on the record, and gets a veto over anything they said.
- The format. Straight conversation, a ranked list, a debate with a verdict: use the shape you two already fall into.
Milestones
- Topic agreed and an outline of five beats on an index card, nothing scripted.
- Recording setup tested: one phone or mic per person, a quiet room, a two-minute test listened back.
- The episode recorded, an hour or more of tape.
- Edited down: tangents that die get cut, tangents that land stay.
- Title and episode notes written by you, your friend's final listen, then published at a URL or feed.
Done means
- Live at a public URL or podcast feed
- Both voices are audible the whole way through
- Your friend heard the final cut and okayed it
- The episode notes are your words and say what the episode covers
- It runs only as long as the conversation earned; padding is cut
